  1. This was at a wine bar in Willow Glen -- The Grapevine, I believe. It was a strange place but the truffle popcorn was OUT OF THIS WORLD.

And I have no idea what the cheeses were called, but there was a brie-but-not-actually-brie cheese, a goat cheese with chives, a blue cheese (an Australian cow's milk cheese...maybe called "Roaring 40's" or something), a mystery cheese I don't remember and that orange one was, I wanna say, a Gouda that had been aged three years. Whatever that orange one was, it kicked all kinds of ass.

  2. You need to try blue cheese drizzled with honey. I know it sounds odd, but it's freaking phenomenal. There's a little wine bar/restaurant here that serves regionally produced blue cheese with honeycomb from the owner's brother's bee farm. Incredibly delish on a baguette.

  3. I am well versed in the glory of the blue cheese/honey/baguette combo! It's one of my go-to splurge treats! DEEEEEE-LISH!

When I come visit Team Idaho we'll have to stuff our faces with local cheese and honey!
