Blog Apt Tour: CHECK!

This is the last item on my list of things to blog so once I do this, I'll be ALL caught up!

So hello everyone, let me take you on a tour of my "new" house...even though I've been living here since April. This is my living room:

80% of my visitors have commented on how small my TV is, but I think it's the perfect size.

Here's what's going on behind the couch (only like 10 minutes later, but I missed the natural light):

Don't laugh at my old school Bose sound dock. It was a hand-me-down and it does the trick. If it aint broke, don't fix it.

Also note the super awesome lamp, which was one of two that I sort of stole from Kari and Eric (the awesome people who kept me entertained with texts all day long a couple months back) when I went to visit them. This one's partner is on the other side of the room, but is visible in the mirror. And when I say "sort of stole" I mean "I said I liked them and then Kari boxed them up and took me to the post office so I could mail them to myself."

This is where I sometimes stand and watch the turkeys:

The dining "room":

 The kitchen:

Mike Rowe lives behind those burlap curtains with the washer and dryer and all my misc things:

There's actually a back door behind that set of shelves on the left, but I'd rather have the storage space. I'll also add that my work bag is not usually on the floor, but it's the weekend and it doesn't really have a home so it gets shoved somewhere until Monday mornings.

And then there's the bedroom:

And a bathroom so tiny you can wash your hands while sitting on the toilet:

I totally forgot to take pictures of the garage, but that's really not exciting so I won't worry about it...but OMG I love having a garage where I can put things that don't need to be inside all the time -- and a spot for the Goodwill pile!! No more piles in my closet YAYAYAAYAYAYYAAY.

Which reminds me....I didn't take pictures of my closet either....ARGH. But oh well. I have a closet and an adorable built-in linen closet thing.

Come and visit me sometime, internet!!! The couch is a pullout and since I have a feather bed for it, it's actually quite comfortable -- anyone who stayed in my SF apartment can testify to that fact!
