ReplyDeleteI didn't even give it 183 pages before giving up on it. Like you, I just didn't care about the characters or the story. I tried watching the original film, but subtitles bore me even more than boring reading. Maybe the American version of the movie will be better.
ReplyDeleteIt took me about that long to get into the book, but then I blazed through the rest of it and the other two books. But, if it's not for you, it's not for you...
